Supernatural Horror in Literature by H.P. Lovecraft – Chapter 2

Ah, the birth of the realm that is horror literature.  This audio clip captures the second chapter of H.P. Lovecraft’s essay on Supernatural Horror in Literature, which explains how horror literature came to be.   I find solace in the quote, “Many of them were taken from the earliest oral source, and form part of mankind’s permanent heritage”.  All horror literature is born from ghost stories whispered in the night and ingrained in humanity’s blood for all of eternity.
